Martin Rehn

Production Leader

Why did you start working at Scanlube?

I started working at Scanlube in 1998 after a short employment at Volvo. Back then I started as a process operator filling the four-liter machine (which is now rebuilt to 5 liters).

After that, I worked as a process operator mixing and bulk planner before becoming a team leader.

The opportunity to develop at Scanlube is something I am both proud and grateful for.

Tell me a little about your role

My role as production leader is to lead a team of 11 operators to reach set goals. This at the same time as we focus on safety and the working environment.

I have a network of contacts across the entire company, where I work closely together with both maintenance, finance, but above all with production planning.

What do you like best about the job?

What gives me energy is being able to lead a group of employees. The fact that I get to participate in a lot of what happens in the company also makes my job very interesting.

What is the best thing about working at Scanlube?

Scanlube is a fairly large company where I, together with my colleagues, have great opportunities to make a difference.

Education

Automotive technical high school

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend time with my son. I like to go on training runs and fishing — together with my brother we have a boat on the island of Tjörn on the Swedish west coast.
