Code of conduct

Purpose

Scanlube's Code of Conduct describes the values that govern the company's relationship with employees, business partners and other stakeholders.

The values are a guide towards good business that creates sustainable development for the parties concerned.

As an employee or business partner, you are expected to respect the code of conduct and work based on the highlighted principles.

Social responsibility

Human rights and working conditions

Scanlube respects basic human rights according to the UN declaration. We do not accept child labor, forced labor or work in risky work environments. We expect the same from our business partners.

Work environment

Scanlube shall be a safe and secure workplace with healthy employees. Safety always comes first and employees must follow the company's safety procedures in all situations.

Scanlube wants to be an attractive employer and cares that all employees are happy and want to stay, while at the same time we want to attract new competent employees.

Wages and benefits must be competitive and employees must be offered opportunities to develop. Scanlube preserves a good company culture and our core values must be a pillar that supports the entire organization.

Discrimination and diversity

Scanlube values and encourages diversity, which should be reflected in our company. Scanlube does not tolerate any discrimination based on gender, age, ethnic or religious affiliation, disability, sexual orientation or opinion.

No harassment of any kind is allowed and will be actively countered by the company. Em-ployees should feel safe to report failures and misconduct without fear of reprisal.

Confidentiality and loyalty

Scanlube carries out systematic information security work with the aim of increasing awareness among employees about protecting information from unauthorized access. Employees must handle company information with the greatest care and not share it with unauthorized individuals.

All employees are expected to maintain a high level of quality in their work towards colleagues, customers, suppliers and business partners. Each employee has a responsibility to ensure that Scanlube's reputation is not damaged through dishonesty and disloyalty.

Business partners

Scanlube strives for long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners that are based on mutual trust. We value honesty, integrity and fairness in our business relationships and expect the same from our partners.

Employees participating in international business collaborations must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Anti-corruption

Employees at Scanlube may never offer or accept bribes or other illegal benefits. Cases of suspected corruption or other forms of illegal activity are investigated internally and reported to the relevant authorities.

Scanlube employees may not accept gifts or hospitality that break national laws or exceed what is considered reasonable and locally accepted for company hospitality.

Environmental responsibility

Climate impact

Scanlube strives to minimize the climate impact of its operations. We measure our emissions in accordance with the Green House Gas Protocol and work actively to reduce the climate impact throughout the entire value chain. We expect the same from our business partners.  

Environmental work

Scanlube carries out systematic and proactive environmental work. Based on a life cycle perspective, we identify and manage our environmental impact, both positive and negative. We follow up on our most significant environmental aspects and work actively with risks, environmental goals and action plans.

Resources usage

Scanlube constantly strives to control energy consumption and make it more efficient through continuous improvement.

Wherever possible, we choose resource-saving alternatives and recycled materials. We minimize our waste quantities and ensure that our sorted waste is recycled.

Emissions to air, soil and water

Scanlube's local manufacturing process generates no carbon dioxide emissions. We work actively to prevent and minimize the spillage of oil products on land and in water.

We have an established working method for managing risks and we stay well prepared to minimize the consequences of any spills.
